Learn to 'pray like Jesus'
at Lakeview
The worship service on April 27 will start at 10:45 a.m. The message is titled "I Don't Know How to Pray ... How Did Jesus Pray?" and is the last message in a four-week series on "Praying Like Jesus."
On Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m., join the church as it offers something for everyone. Adults will be "Digging Deeper" into the Word and there are activities for the children and youth group from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. The nursery also will be open.
Lakeview hosts a Bible Study at Starbucks, in Aurora, for men in the community at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings. Study and discussion is based on desired involvement. Contact the church at 330-562-3438 for directions. The Web site is www.lakeviewchapelaurora.org.
Recently the youth group at the church participated in an overnight stay at the church while not eating for 30 hours. They raised money for children throughout the world by doing their "30-Hour Famine."
Singles fellowship dinner set
"TrueLife" Singles invites all singles, ages 35 and older, to a fellowship dinner at Parkside Church on May 2 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Jeff Mills. This is an opportunity for Christian fellowship with friends and to meet new singles. The cost is $10 per person for the catered dinner. Reservations are required by April 28. Study 'Book Of Colossians'

Every Sunday in April Pastor Powell Woods will lead a study of St. Paul's letter to the Colossians.

Youth Sunday is April 27
for Solon church
Youth Sunday will be April 27 at Solon Community Church, located at 33955 Sherbrook Park Drive (on the corner of Sherbrook Park Drive and SOM Center Road.) The youth will conduct a service called "What church means to me." They will perform a skit and the sermon will be a Power Point presentation of interviews with various church members and what church means to them. The younger children will sing two anthems, "This Little Light of Mine" and "I'm Gonna Sing, I'm Gonna Shout."
