Ross Arnold Maimone, 79, of Gold Bar, Wash. passed away July 5, 2016. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final days. After serving in the United States Army, Ross worked for the Ford Motor Company and later in life was a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America local 440 of Seattle until his retirement. In 2008 he married Karen Rupp of Gold Bar. Prior to that he was married to the late Wanda L. Davis for 34 years and prior to that the late Dorothy Brand for eight years. Ross was born December 3, 1936, in Lakewood, Ohio to Elizabeth and Ross Maimone. He was raised in Twinsburg, Ohio and graduated from Twinsburg High School in 1955. In the late 1960’s he moved to Washington and in 1983 he settled to Gold Bar where he resided for the past 33 years. Ross is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Ross Maimone; his wife, Wanda and daughters, Peggy and Michelle. Ross is survived by his wife, Karen; his sister, Elizabeth, his brother, John (Elaine); his daughters, Vicky (Mike), Sherry, Maria, Rhonda, Shelly (Sean); his grandchildren, Stephen, Dacia, Adam, Cailean, Brandon, Keith, Ian, Jacob, Victoria, Sarah, Aric, Haley and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Faith and Aria. Ross was an active member in the community and was involved in various clubs such as the Lions Club, VFW, American Legion, Sky Valley Eagles, Garden Club and Seattle Seahawks Booster Club. His Memorial was held on July 23, 2016, at the VFW in Gold Bar, 301 3rd Street from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 5 p.m. at Sky Valley Eagles Club. 1112 East Main St. in Sultan, WA.
