Support for levy meanssupport for future generations
As someone who was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, and more specifically in the eastern suburbs, I am writing to express my support for the Twinsburg City School District's upcoming levy.
Over five years ago I met my wife, Jo Jo. We have since married, moving to the Twinsburg area in 2014. We are now expecting our first child in the fall. When we decided to buy our first home and the home we would grow in for the future, we knew the decision came with many variables to consider.
One of the major factors was the quality of the school district. After recommendations from other families with children who experienced the Twinsburg schools and area as a whole, in addition to our own research and positive ratings, we decided Twinsburg was the place to be due to its combination of schools, increasing property values and the general community.
As a local financial planning professional, with a spouse who works as executive director of her own social development program for children in the Cleveland and Akron areas, we personally understand the financial implications of the success or failure of a school district -- and its impact on the surrounding community. That being said, when we, as a growing family, see the negative results the schools could have if the additional levy is not supported, we also see the long-term, lasting consequences -- and the direct impact they could have on my children and family. Please take the time to support the levy in May and allow my future children and all the children of the community the opportunity to have a quality education that has come to be expected from the Twinsburg City School District.
