Twinsburg Township to pick up branches April 10

TWINSBURG TOWNSHIP -- With recent high winds and spring temperatures coming early, many residents have placed tree branches at their curbsides. And the township has noticed, scheduling a special branch chipping round the week of April 10. This is a one-time service for the month.

Cuyahoga Falls -- The family and friends of a 17-year-old girl who died from an overdose last fall are launching an effort to spread the word about the dangers of drug use. Rachel Anne DeMaio died Oct. 28, 2016 after, her family said, she used a drug containing Carfentanil.

Bicentennial books now available

TWINSBURG -- Bicentennial Books, available for Twinsburg, Twinsburg Township and Reminderville residents, are now available. Mayor Ted Yates said copies of the book, "Three Communities, One Heritage," came in March 14, despite some curveballs thrown by the recent inclement weather.
