Twinsburg native Chase Oberthaler, 14, recently pitched a perfect game as member of the Western Reserve Warriors travel team. The perfect game took place June 18 a the Game Day USA Cincinnati Reds series tournament, as Oberthaler needed just 71 pitches to retire 21 batters in order.

The Twinsburg Lady Tigers age 12-and-younger travel softball team won the Battle at the Barlow Tournament June 26 in Hudson. Katy Gannon led the Lady Tigers with 10 strikeouts from the pitcher's circle and Madison Harchar drove in five runs during Twinsburg's 8-6 victory over the Ohio Charge.
