The host Twinsburg girls basketball team improved to 21-0 overall and 9-0 in the Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division after earning a convincing 72-41 victory over Hudson Feb. 9.
The Lady Tigers scored the first 13 points and never looked back. It was the Lady Explorers' second straight loss.
Ashley Morrissette led Twinsburg with a game-high 23 points and Brooke Smith had 19 points. Hannah Boesinger led Hudson (17-4, 6-3) with 12 points and Krissy Mummey had nine points for the Lady Explorers.
The Lady Tigers also earned a 23-22 win in the junior varsity contest.
