Hudson routs Twinsburg boys basketball team

The Twinsburg boys basketball team's chances of earning the Northeast Ohio Conference River Division title took a major hit Feb. 15.

The host Tigers lost a commanding 71-48 decision to Hudson. With the win, the Explorers are now alone in first place in the River Division. Hudson improved to 7-2, while Twinsburg dropped to 6-3. Brush, which lost a 66-57 decision to Stow-Munroe Falls Feb. 15 on the road, fell to 5-3.

The Explorers took control early and never looked back. Zack Brandy led Hudson with 24 points. Jalen Washington led Twinsburg with a game-high 25 points.
